Grossest experience in the cake shop........ever!

A customer brought in a live rag worm to ask me to copy it for her husband!

The board this cake sits on is 24" x 14".

I carved the sponge, then covered the cake in one piece, using modelling tools to mark the icing into the correct patterns.

The cake was painted brown and the coated in piping gel to give it that horrible slimy look

Co-o-o-ol! I now have something new to add to my list of dishes for Halloween dinner, the one meal of the year where few guests have been brave enough to actually EAT anything we serve (Eyeball Salad, Popped Puss-Filled Bloody Pimples, Zombie Guts, Witch's Fingers, Brain Molds, etc.).
