This was my first wedding cake 10 years ago.
My friend is in the picture looking beautiful, and the little boy climbing up onto the chair is Kieran (a few photos of him already in my galleries)
There were over 600 components to the sugar flower sprays, and although now I look at them and know where all the faults are, I am still proud that this was my first wedding cake.
The sugar flowers and leaves took me 3 months to make and I had a huge list that I ticked off every night, I can still remember it!!!
I remade a three tier stacked round version of this cake with a similar number of flowers and it took a week and a half!!!!!!! How you develop with practice
